Bologonya Under Canvas Camp enables guests to be within reach of the Great Wildebeest Migration and to explore remote, beautiful corners of the Serengeti with excellent resident game. This seasonal camp moves a few times throughout the year to always be in the path of the migration herds.
Under Canvas is intimate and exclusive, offering eleven spacious safari tents (including one family tent), each with double bed, en suite bathroom, separate portable water closet and a safari shower. A large, airy, central dining tent offers a comfortable lounge area with a small reference library and maps, some games and a recharging facility for cameras and videos. The safari chef will prepare sumptuous meals for your enjoyment and special dietary requests are taken care of.
From December to March the camp is situated on the south plains of the Serengeti and is known as Ndutu Under Canvas, from June to July it is situated on the West Corridor and in August to November in the north, offering guests the best possible experience of a traditional mobile safari camp. Nevertheless, the final location of the camp is determined by the movements of the Migration.

Sasaab is a sensational and stylish lodge set in a wild landscape, amongst the culturally proud and fascinating Samburu tribe. It offers an experience of rare and endangered wildlife enhanced by scenic views of the Ewaso Nyiro river- Kenya’s third largest water course. Set on half a mile of hillside, the lodge provides privacy and harmony with the environment and a taste of true African safari. Sasaab is situated in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya. The conservancy was established in 2004 and borders the Samburu National Reserve.
The nine distinctive rooms have Egyptian cotton sheets on four poster beds with large, spacious bathrooms. Each room is over one hundred square meters in size and extends out to the veranda and private plunge pool with views overlooking the river and wildlife below.
The Samburu are a proud tribe of cattle owning pastoralists, a section of the Maa-speaking people who rely on their cattle, sheep, camels and goats for their livelihoods. They have striven to preserve much of their culture and are very proud to show their way of life to visitors, making a visit to this area an exceptional cultural experience.
Encounter a variety of wildlife on day or night game drives. Discover lion, leopard and cheetah or the Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich).
