Deteema Springs Camp is a luxury tented camp located near the Deteema dam in northwestern Hwange National Park. Famous for its large concentrations of animals, the rugged, mountainous terrain of Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park - with its year-round water seeps - is an area ideal for walking and game drives, producing incredible wildlife sightings.
Inspired by a former historic picnic site, Deteema Springs camp offers an intimate safari experience. The eight canvas tents are positioned on raised wooden decks along the contour line of a hill and blend into the natural surroundings. Each tent affords privacy, views and complete eco-luxury comfort including an en-suite bedroom with modern bathroom, relaxation area and large private patio deck from where you can view the wildlife that comes to visit below. With elephant making a regular appearance in the semi-dried up river bed below your tented rooms, the wildlife viewing starts from the moment you wake up and look outside your room, to the moment you close your eyes after a wonderful day of amazing sightings.
