Le Suarez Hotel is a lovely guest house located in the northern part of Madagascar, in the city of Antsiranana. This is a beautiful area with small sailboats dotting the harbor's bright blue waters. All of the 12 bungalows are simply decorated and made from natural materials that celebrate the region. They all have a king-size bed, mosquito net, air conditioning, safe and private patio. The hotel is built on the hillside of the Pain de Sucre. The bungalows are scattered throughout the large park lush with endemic vegetation and have been designed to fit perfectly into their environment. It is definitely the best site to behold Diego Suarez’s Bay from the earliest hours of the morning.
In the restaurant "La Fleur de Sel" the chef cooks up an original and delicious menu with different choices that blend flavors from both European cuisine and fresh locally produced tropical products. Here, the exhilarating vanilla sweetness seasons fresh sea bream and with a gratin of banana plantain. There you can experience such delicacies as a “parmentier de confit de canard à la patate douce” or a grilled lobster flambed with aged rum and the red rice of Madagascar.
There is a large swimming pool with a waterfall and breathtaking view over the bay. There are comfortable chairs for lounging and taking in the sun.
